Dr. Gabriel Valle is recognized as one of the most respected and accomplished Nephrologists in Florida, known for delivering the highest standard of kidney care.

Academic Background

Dr. Valle earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he was selected as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. He went on to complete both Research and Clinical Fellowships in Nephrology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where he was honored as Chief Administrative Fellow.

A respected voice in academic medicine, Dr. Valle has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in Nephrology and Critical Care and co-authored the medical textbook The Kidney in Liver Disease. His published works include the landmark article “Gastric Bypass Surgery in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients,” which appeared in both Peritoneal Dialysis International and The Journal of Obesity.

Dr. Valle is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and is also a Certified Hypertension Specialist.  He is also Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board for the National Kidney Foundation of Florida. His professional honors include being named a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow of the American Society of Chest Physicians, a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology, and a Fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine.

At Holy Cross Hospital, Dr. Valle served two terms as Chief of Medicine and two terms as Chief of the Ethics Committee, in addition to holding leadership positions such as Chief of Critical Care and Chief of Credentialing.

His clinical expertise includes Refractory Hypertension, Diabetic Kidney Disease, Glomerular Diseases, Autoimmune Kidney Disorders, Kidney Transplantation, and Peritoneal Dialysis. Dr. Valle was honored to co-chair the American Society of Nephrology’s Renal Week in collaboration with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine’s Division of Nephrology. He serves as faculty at both the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine, and is Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board of the National Kidney Foundation of Florida.
