Viewers might remember Kidney Group patient, Kathy, who was interviewed by Channel 10, along with Dr. Valle and Dr. Guerra of UM, regarding her pursuit of a kidney by advertising on Facebook back in January of this year. Well, she was transplanted successfully at the University of Miami today, not with an altruistic donor kidney but because her turn on the UNOS list came up. A warm, wonderful, amazing person and a pleasure to have as a patient. Everyone of us here shares your joy today, Kathy!!
