Good advice for a long life. Avoid the haters.
“Whatever happens to you in life, whatever comes to you, welcome them with a I love it attitude. Develop a positive attitude. Don’t allow negative thoughts. Avoid mixing with negative people. Avoid watching the TV news. It’s not uplifting.” ~ George Burns.
Mr. Burns lived to be 100. As much as he looked forward to reaching the age of 100, Burns also stated, about a year before he died, that he also looked forward to death, saying that on the day he would die, he would be with his beloved wife and partner, Gracie, again in heaven. Upon being interred with Gracie, the crypt’s marker was changed to, “Gracie Allen & George Burns—Together Again.” George had said that he wanted Gracie to have top billing.
We think Mr. Burns was right. Avoid negativity and negative people. Mr. Burns was a class act, and a KG favorite always.
