Even in a practice like the Kidney Group that does so many transplants, 4 in one week-and all at University of Miami, and all four Dr. Valle’s patients- is ASTOUNDING! All four did amazing. Three of the four patients never had dialysis, which is the ideal way to do it-if you can. (not easy, we know!)
Congratulations to Dr. Valle and his team who prep the patient and help to make it happen, congrats to the surgical team at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and most of all-congrats to Tom, Belinda, Gloria and Brad! (and in those cases where living donors were involved-what can we say…you are absolutely our heroes and we salute you!)
